MEDAV as a successful, medium-sized company

The business was founded in 1982 in Erlangen, Germany. The objective was the introduction of digital signal processing technology in products and systems. In the following years MEDAV quickly established itself on the market of high-end products and solutions. National and international customers in the areas of research and development, industry and government have been acquired. The product range was soon expanded, and the company’s headquarters enlarged and relocated to Uttenreuth, Germany.

In 2000 the subsidiary of TeWiSoft GmbH was founded in Ilmenau, Germany with the objective to provide high quality services for the development of technical and scientific software solutions. In 2007, the two companies were finally merged with the purpose to concentrate the existing know how and long time experience in one organisation working on the same goals and customers. Today, the headquarters are located in Uttenreuth, Germany with business premises in Ilmenau, Germany.

These days, MEDAV is a dynamic company boasting 15 % growth each year consisting of approximately 75 highly qualified and motivated employees. As an innovative company and full service provider we have developed to one of the global players in the international market. 

Ever since its launch, our company has striven to conquer new technical territory. Our strength lies in developing practical, intelligent, and efficient solutions. This sometimes means going down a very different path to that of our competitors. But our success proves our strategy is right. And our experience prepares us for the challenges ahead.
